After featuring on the TIME 100 Most Influential Companies 2025, LAMDA Development was for the first time included in the Most Admired Companies list by prestigious Fortune Greece magazine. In fact, it ranked among the Top 5 most admired businesses in the country, alongside AEGEAN, Sklavenitis, Papastratos and Coca-Cola HBC. This distinction confirms that a leading position is not achieved solely through strong financial performance, but also through our ability to place people, society and the environment at the core of our strategy.

Our inclusion in the list validates our vision to create innovative destinations and experiences that make every moment unique. During the 2000s, we were the first to bring malls to Greece and build marinas that upgraded the country’s coastal life. Today, we are bringing to life the largest urban regeneration project in Europe, developing a modern smart city that introduces a new way of living: The Ellinikon.

What is the Most Admired Companies list

Every year, Fortune Greece magazine, in partnership with KPMG, showcases the companies that stand out in the Greek market with their credibility, innovation and corporate culture, placing them on the list of the most admired companies in Greece. These are businesses that have a vision for growth, focus on sustainability and social responsibility, and stand out for the quality of their leadership, products and services.

The Most Admired Companies list is a benchmark for the Greek business community, as more than 2,200 executives from 500 Greek companies across diverse sectors participate in the evaluation and single out the companies that are truly admirable. This is why being included in the list is a particular honor and recognition for all our work.

Changing the urban landscape in Attica

The Ellinikon, the largest urban regeneration project in Europe, proposes a new way of living in Attica, combining innovation, high aesthetics and a strong connection to the environment. In an area spanning 6.2 million m2 at the Athens Riviera, just 30 minutes from the center of Athens, a new 15-minute smart city is set to host:

  • The largest coastal park in Europe and one of the largest ones worldwide, with a surface area that is 1.5 times that of London’s Hyde Park
  • A beach and a marina
  • Malls, luxury hotels, restaurants and recreational areas
  • Modern, sustainable homes and the largest sea-front skyscraper in the Mediterranean
  • Cultural venues and sport centers
  • Educational institutions and office spaces

The Ellinikon project proves we remain steadfast in our efforts to bring change to the Greek society. The project is set to inject fresh momentum into the southern suburbs of Athens, changing the lives of residents and visitors alike. Moreover, it is expected to create up to 80,000 new jobs, attract investments and offer new business opportunities to local communities.

Crafting experiences, elevating maritime tourism

In 2005, we introduced Greece to malls. Today, the 4 LAMDA Development malls are considered the new meeting points in Attica and Thessaloniki. Besides the countless shopping options, they present the perfect opportunity for relaxation at cafés and restaurants, as well as for recreation, since some of them boast movie theaters, escape rooms, green areas, etc. At the same time, they offer unique possibilities for exciting experiences and learning activities, such as the XPLORE Entertainment Center at Golden Hall, where children discover the world through play and become acquainted with 2,000 marine species in the spectacular aquarium.

In addition, our 3 marinas  place Greece firmly on the world map of luxury maritime tourism, attracting high-end tourists in the Aegean and Ionian seas. Indeed, the Agios Kosmas Marina can host super yachts up to 80 meters, the Flisvos Marina can accommodate up to 310 boats, and the new marina on Corfu is going to turn the island into a top yachting destination of the Ionian and Adriatic seas, with the capacity to berth luxury yachts up to 140 meters long.
