Enhancing Urban Green Spaces

True to our commitment to improving quality of life and promoting environmental sustainability, LAMDA Development implements the socially responsible initiative “Urban Green Dots: Creating Greenerg Neighborhoods,” fully funded by the company. This innovative program aims to enhance urban greenery and aesthetically upgrade public spaces, contributing to residents’ wellbeing and everyday quality of life.

The parks created are open and accessible to everyone, designed as spaces for gathering, joy, and relaxation for all ages.
So far, improvements have been made in the Municipality of Elliniko-Argyroupoli, including the Park  at Margarita Street, Rigas Feraios Square Park, and all four sections of Geroulanou Park in Alimos Municipality.

• More specifically, the Park at Margarita Street now hosts a model educational botanical garden, an open-air library, a beautifully designed plaza, and a dedicated area for light sports activities.
• Rigas Feraios Square has been transformed into an educational park focused on Mediterranean aromatic and medicinal plants, with interactive features that promote environmental awareness to the residents.
• The four sections of Geroulanou Park at Alimos Municipality include artificial rock gardens with Mediterranean herbs (lavender, rosemary, thyme, sage, oregano, etc.), a zone with planted tamarisks, lighting, and more.

LAMDA Development aims to create more sustainable public spaces that improve the microclimate, increase biodiversity, and provide a pleasant, safe, and attractive environment for citizens of all ages.
