Penteli: Restoring the environment after devastating fires

With a strong sense of responsibility toward the environment and local communities, LAMDA Development actively supported the restoration of Penteli after the catastrophic fires of 2024. In collaboration with the Municipality of Penteli, we carried out targeted interventions that improve residents’ daily lives and contribute significantly to the prevention of future risks:

  • 280m of protective railing along Panagouli Stream to ensure the safety of residents and visitors
  • 18 new air-conditioning units in the Penteli High School for better learning conditions
  • Reforestation of 27 acres in two locations—on the slope of Panagouli Stream and in the Saint Nikolaos grove near Krystalleio Primary School—with tree species that enhance fire protection

Through this comprehensive initiative, LAMDA Development reaffirms its commitment to sustainable development and social contribution, supporting the regeneration of the natural environment and improving the quality of life for residents.
