People with Disabilities (PwD) – Care Center
LAMDA Development completed, at a cost of €15 million entirely funded by the company, the Care Center for People with Disabilities on schedule.
This model building, which houses five associations for people with disabilities—“Amymoni,” “Ermis,” “Niki – Victor Artant,” “Multiple Sclerosis Association,” and “Ippokampos PwD”—was a central priority for LAMDA Development. The company committed to and took responsibility for ensuring that the first building to be constructed at The Ellinikon would become a new home for our vulnerable fellow citizens.
The associations, which had previously been located in makeshift and inadequate facilities of only 2,500 sqm within Elliniko, moved in September 2023—with LAMDA Development covering all relocation costs—into a building complex that serves as a model for Social Care facilities throughout Europe.
With a total built area of 11,500 sqm on a 7,400 sqm plot, already delivered to the Municipality of Elliniko-Argyroupoli, the new Care Center for People with Disabilities offers a unique environment. Its creation aims to enhance daily life and provide a new way of living that is easier, more functional, and friendlier—for both children and adults who need, and deserve, optimal care.
