Inauguration of the building at 18 Sisini St., UPOSIMs new head offices.
New breath of life for journalists in the building developed by the LAMDA Development Group of Companies
On the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of the building at Sisini St., the new head offices of the United Press Organization of Supplementary Insurance and Medicare (UPOSIM), the LAMDA Development Group of Companies, which completed building development, would like to send its best wishes to the Organization and its members. Moreover, we firmly believe that relocation of the Organization to a state-of-the-art building will mark a new period of support for the journalists family.
The building at 18 Sisini St. was developed by LAMDA Estate Development, (a 100% subsidiary of the LAMDA Development Group of Companies) and was sold to UPOSIM in February 2002. It includes spaces covering a total surface area of 5,000 m2 and consists of a ground floor and six floors with three underground garages.
Design and construction were carried out to the most up-to-date standards to the extend that the building at 18 Sisini St. combines modern design and functionality with a facade of fully insulated aluminium and glass, and maximum safety thanks to its earthquake-proof construction. Moreover, it is easily accessible, being located in the centre of Athens near the Athens Hilton Hotel, only a short distance from the Megaro Mousikis Metro station and other public transport stops.
Today the building houses model clinics and labs, which provide those insured with UPOSIM with global, up-to-date medical services, and is staffed by fully trained personnel. The building also houses the offices of UPOSIMs administrative services.
