LAMDA Development and Swissport LAMDA Hellas sponsor exhibition of photographs at Benaki Museum

LAMDA Development and its 50%-owned subsidiary Swissport Lamda Hellas are sponsoring the important exhibition ‘Two Swiss archaeologists photograph Greece – Waldemar Deonna and Paul Collart 1904-1939’, organised by the Benaki Museum, the Swiss Archaeological School in Greece, the Lausanne Institute of Archaeology and Ancient History and the Telloglou Foundation.

The exhibition, to be held at the Benaki Museum from 16 March to 14 April, presents photographs by Waldemar and Collart, two philhellenes who immortalised through the camera lens not only the beauty of ancient Greek monuments but also scenes from everyday life.

Always sensitive to cultural issues and fully aware of its obligation to contribute to the life of the community, LAMDA Development has undertaken to sponsor this exhibition and hopes thereby to assist in its successful organisation.

The exhibition is also being sponsored by Swissport LAMDA Hellas, a company in which LAMDA Development holds a 50% stake. Swissport LAMDA Hellas S.A., a company in which LAMDA Development is collaborating with the Swiss giant Swissport International, was committed to supporting the exhibition for an additional reason: the exhibition is being held at the same time as the opening of the new Eleftherios Venizelos Airport, where the company will be providing ground handling services, building on its dynamic presence in the Greek market at other airports like the Hellinikon and the Nikos Kazantzakis Airport in Irakleio.
