LAMDA Development sponsors Pan-European Championship
Beach Soccer European Golden League
LAMDA Development sponsored the finals of the 5th round of the pan-European championship of the beach soccer European Golden League which were held on 20th & 21st July at Xylokastro in the Prefecture of Corinth.
Major names from European and world football arrived in Greece on Friday 19th July to take part in the 5th round of the European beach soccer championship. Among them, some of the international stars who represent the national teams of France, Italy, Portugal and Greece were Manuel Amaros, Bruno Belon, Stefano Taconi and Roy Barros and, of course, our own Dimitris Saravakos, Nikos Vamvakoulas and Kyriakos Karataidis.
The championship finals were organized by the Municipality of Xylokastro in an effort to promote the sport and the area into one of the most important tourist resorts. LAMDA Development supported this effort with its sponsorship, which via its subsidiary DIMIOURGIA S.A. is active in the area, developing a tourist complex of 200 apartments in Xylokastro with a budget of 4 billion GRD.
One of the most significant advantages of the project is its location, bordering a property belonging to the Municipality of Xylokastro where sport grounds were recently created, the championship games took place, and a marina for pleasure yachts was built.
Given its involvement in the area and the particular emphasis it places on the sporting spirit, LAMDA Development recognizes the importance of organizing such sporting events for the local community, supports the Municipality of Xylokastro in its effort and congratulates the Mayor, Mr. Dimitrios Skouras, as well as the sportsmen who participated in creating such as well-organized event.
